[edit] Caller ID Spoofing
Please do not add links to sites that sell the service described in the article - even if you have no connection to the site, it could very easily be seen as spam. However, if you would like to write an explanation of how Telespoof et al provide the service, that contribution would be welcome. Dethme0w 18:05, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
Okay, that's not really what I meant. It's still spam if you put in the link solely for the purpose of promoting the site, even if you did do the absolute minimum amount of exposition with it that you thought you could get away with. If, perhaps, you included links to competing services as well along with an explanation of how (and not just a short list of the names of the technologies) those services, in common, provide that service, then you'd be approaching not having a conflict of interest. However, since you've now been caught spamming twice, I don't see that coming, at least not from you. So instead I am going to ask nicely that you not edit this article again unless you can do so without promoting a service or product. -=( Dethme0w 06:28, 27 February 2007 (UTC) )=-
