You asked me about the materials I removed -- I removed materials that are blatantly false or only use sources that are approved by Traprock Peace Center and its members of the anti-DU crusade. Did you know that Douglas Lind Rokke, the self-proclaimed Director of the Army's DU program who also proclaimed that Israel used DU in the 73 War and in Lebanon has a Neo Nazi connection? I would bet not because it only came to my attention last week and I have a lot of correspondents all over the world who send me things.

Doug Rokke spoke at the Neo Nazi convention proudly discussed here www.chairmanofnordwave.blogspot.com/ . Rokke was introduced by the Master of Ceremonies Dave Von Kleist. Von Kleist together with his wife Joyce Riley founded the on-line American Gulf War Veterans Association and has the Power Hour internet/radio show. They also produced the video documentary "Beyond Treason" with Rokke, Leuren Moret and Dennis Kyne.

I was led to this by a correspondent who was replying to something recently posted on the American Free Press which is owned by Willis Carto who also publishes The Barnes Review. This Neo Nazi convention was sponsored by the American Free Press and Barnes Review. I have now learned that the American Free Press is a Neo Nazi front so all articles posted at that site should be viewed through a virulently anti-Israel/pro-Palestinian/pro-Iraqi insurgent viewpoint. That helps account for the mass of false and misleading information that has been posted there by writers such as Christopher Bollyn and now Pat Shannan on depleted uranium and American casualties

When DU was developed in the 70's (so I expect that we began to realize that we could not destroy Soviet Bloc tanks in the 60's or very early 70's), it was the only substance that would penetrate modern armor (ours or theirs). It was the "magic bullet" that was to stop the massive armored thrust that planners expected would be the beginning of World War III through the Fulda Gap on the North German Plain. You can read the test documents, etc. at the Gulflink website. The Department of Defense has declassified an immense amount of material on DU to answer the anti-DU crusade and the initial Gulf War veteran questions about why they were getting sick with the various symptoms commonly referred to as the Gulf War Syndrome. Since about 1999, massive research has been done and GWS has been found to have nothing to do with DU and DU has been found to have made no one sick or dying and those claims like those of Doug Rokke are lies to keep the donations flowing in and the personal appearance circuit full.

Have you looked at any of the materials at DUStory; if not, you are overlooking a lot of resources. No, none of them are the CADU or ICBU junk and none of them are pure DoD propaganda either. I initially tried to avoid DoD, but there is so much information there and it is very clear that this is "old" stuff, not stuff ginned up to counter Rokke and the anti-DU crusade. I even found references to Rokke and his role in the Gulf War and afterwards there and now I know what he really did rather than the false claims he makes on Youtube videos of his personal appearances. He is a liar. I can absolutely prove that if he wanted to take me on in court.
