From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I notice from your contributions that you have taken it upon yourself to add a {trivia} tag to all "popular culture" sections in the encyclopædia. Whilst I salute your efforts, I believe you are operating under erroneous conclusions. Allow me to quote an excerpt from the official Wikipedia guideline on trivia sections:
This guideline does not suggest removing trivia sections, or moving them to the talk page. - If information is otherwise suitable, it is better that it be poorly presented than not presented at all.
This guideline does not suggest always avoiding lists in favor of prose. - Some information is better presented in a list format.
Not all embedded lists are trivia sections
In this guideline, the term "trivia section" refers to a section's content, not its name. A trivia section is one that contains a disorganized and unselective list. These disorganized items are in need of cleanup, either by incorporating them into the prose of another section, or by filtering the list to be more selective. A selectively populated list with a narrow theme is not necessarily trivia, and can be the best way to present some types of information within the article.
On this basis, would it be possible for you to add the tags to sections that actually require them, and not across the board as you have so far?
Additionally, the edit summary box is meant for you to explain your changes to other editors of the article. Please refrain from using it for comments such as "over last, this is it, end of an era, finished, over, done" as you regularly do.
And finally, you may wish to consider creating an account. It's quick, free, and anonymous (you don't have to give away any real-world information about yourself). When you're logged in, you can do many things that unregistered users cannot, such as creating new pages, uploading media content, moving pages and keeping track of changes to articles you edit frequently. It helps the community too, Wikipedians will be more likely to remember who you are when you have an account name. If you want more information on the benefits of creating an account, click here.
Thanks for your contributions, and happy editing. ↔ Dennywuh (talk) 18:12, 17 December 2007 (UTC)

Please refrain from making test edits in Wikipedia articles, such as those you made to Ricky Gervais, even if your ultimate intention is to fix them. Such edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Thank you. ---- Blake01 19:13, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
Please refrain from removing important details from Wikipedia articles, such as those you excised from Mark O'Donnell and Thomas Meehan (writer). You removed text related to awards from the heading that was not present anywhere else in the article, thus significantly reducing its encyclopædic value. Such edits are considered vandalism and have been reverted. ↔ Dennywuh (talk) 21:01, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but recent edits of yours have edit summaries that are inappropriate. Please use edit summaries that accurately tell other editors what you did. Thank you. ↔ Dennywuh (talk) 21:01, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
