[edit] Mark Vallen

Your edit is a misuse of the source which does not say what you have put in the article.[1] That is your interpretation and per WP:NOR is not allowed. Please stick accurately to sources. Tyrenius (talk) 23:39, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

If you edit war and continue inserting OR you are likely to receive a block. Tyrenius (talk) 00:22, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

Please read the Mark Vallen discussion page. This is really seeming like editorial misuse. Please don't tell me you are Mark Vallen or an associate. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.35.24.1 (talkcontribs)

I have replied on the article talk page. I see you've not made that many edits, so you're probably not that familiar with wiki policies, in which case my apologies for being a bit severe. However, use of references must be done accurately. Also if edits are reverted, it's best to discuss on the talk page, not just put them back without even an edit summary. New posts go at the bottom of talk pages. Please don't jump to conclusions about any editor's identity or affiliations. We edit from a WP:NPOV, not a personal one. Tyrenius (talk) 01:24, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

I didn't jump to conclusions re: your identity. Perhaps that was your interpretation. Speaking of interpretations, I challenge you to go back and read the "response to Mark Vallen (in five parts)" and tell me how you interpret #4, if not the way I did. I look forward to your providing the language that could pass the bar on this author's critique of Vallen's blindingly naive treatise on the BP/LACMA arrangement. I also still suggest you call in a second editor in from on high. Maybe you're too close to the subject?

[edit] Sign

As a courtesy to other editors, it is a Wikipedia guideline to sign your posts on talk pages, user talk pages, and WikiProject pages. To do so, simply add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of your comments. Your user name or IP address (if you are not logged in) and the date will then be automatically added along with a timestamp when you save your comment. Signing your comments helps people to find out who said something and provides them with a link to your user/talk page (for further discussion). For further info, read Wikipedia:Talk page guidelines. Thank you. Tyrenius (talk) 01:24, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] March 2008

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Interstate Batteries do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia.

Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): rule: 'youtube\.com' (link(s): http://youtube.com/watch?v=9CZ4z_nAm8s http://youtube.com/watch?v=ZIc3wUo6arQ) . If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. an image or a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, or similar site, then please check the information on the external site thorougly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creators copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! XLinkBot (talk) 16:31, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
