[edit] Thanks

Thanks for the heads-up. I haven't checked the recent history of the page yet, but I'll take a look at it now. —Josiah Rowe (talkcontribs) 07:26, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

This is going to take some time — it looks like several people were edit warring, and more than one may have violated 3RR. I've got to get the facts straight before I start blocking people. —Josiah Rowe (talkcontribs) 07:39, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
Trilemma has been blocked for 24 hours; I'm still reviewing some other editors' contributions to see if they violated 3RR as well. —Josiah Rowe (talkcontribs) 08:19, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
Grand total: 3 editors blocked for 3RR. What a mess. —Josiah Rowe (talkcontribs) 09:35, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Moving forward

I like your suggestions, but I'm worried that the most active editors won't engage in any process that I initiate — it seems that several of the editors aren't convinced that I'm working for NPOV. The best thing, I suppose, would be for a mediator to take up the case, but it looks like the mediators don't want to touch this one (and I can't blame them).

If you want to add your perspective to the AN/I discussion, that might help convince an uninvolved admin to take a look at the situation. At the moment, I'm at a bit of a loss how to proceed, because I seem to be stuck somewhere between contributor and administrator. —Josiah Rowe (talkcontribs) 21:17, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

Following your suggestion, I've made a post at Talk:Jeremiah Wright controversy#Working together. I'd appreciate it if you could add any thoughts you have there. —Josiah Rowe (talkcontribs) 07:52, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
