To correct your misguided opinion, a linguist is anyone who studies the phenomenon of language. I study French, English and language in general. I have undertaken study in France and will be doing so again in the near future. Might I suggest you refrain from making personal attacks, and also that you gain a better grasp of language yourself (for example when to capitalize letters) before you criticise my linguistic ability, which, I can assure you, is more than adequate.
