The new MGM Grand Casino Resort Detroit complex was constructed on an adjacent piece of property at 1777 Third Street which opened on October 3, 2007. On October 1st the old temporary casino at 1300 John C. Lodge Freeway was permanently closed. In the future please make sure that you verify all information before posting it. TYIA.
