Hi. You've added a couple of comments to Talk:List of U.S. and Canadian cities by number of major professional sports franchises in the past few months. Custom here is to sign your comments by adding ~~~~ (four tildes) at the end, which turns into your name (or, in this case, your IP) and the date. VT hawkeyetalk to me 21:55, 9 June 2007 (UTC)

That's an odd rule

[edit] CFL vs NFL

I'm sorry, but you're making a foolish argument pointing out that NFL players who come to the CFL don't do well, while players moving the other way thrive. Players moving NFL-to-CFL are doing so because they couldn't hack it in the NFL anymore and are usually on their way out of pro football; the ones that fail in the CFL do so because either their skills/speed have eroded due to age/injuries or because they take the move down as a personal insult and dog it. Conversely, players that start in the CFL know they have to work hard to move up to the NFL. Frankly, there are a lot of marginal NFL players, particularly at receiver and DB positions, that could have made a lot more of themselves by spending a couple of post-college years in Canada improving their skills before trying to make an NFL roster.

As for NFL Europa, the CFL is probably a better league in my opinion, but they occupy the same position on the gridiron ladder: both leagues send players directly to the NFL. That's all the sentence you're worried about was saying, so don't get upset about it. VT hawkeyetalk to me 03:19, 10 June 2007 (UTC)

I think you will find that their are a few players that played in the NFL, gave the CFL a shot, and failed, while there have been a few cases where a few have succeeded (Gizmo Williams, Warren Moon, Doug Filtue, for example, though the latter two might have had their start in the CFL frist)

My point is that they are different games (like Rugby League and Rugby Union), and CFL is alot harder on players than the NFL version (20 sec play clock than 40, for example), that's why many NFL can't cut it when they play in the CFL.

The NFL does have the best talent, as the saying goes "you get more bang for your buck", as the NFL is able to pay players more than the CFL, and has the first pick of players from US colleges.

But just because they get paid more doesn't mean they can play the CFL game and be good at it since it's a different beast. As you mentioned, some positions do better in one league than the other (CFL: WR, SB, K/P NFL: HB, FB)

and it's centinally has talent that is a step above the NFLE, there not on the same level. I bet Ricky Williams would still do well in the NFLE than he does now in the NFL or last season with Toronto.

excuse me sir, but the article is very relavelt to Wikipidia and to the story that Blitz the League tells, just because it hasnt been updated is no cause for delesion, and more info will likly be comeing with the release of the seaquel to Bitlz the League coming sometime in 2009, if you delete is article, I will simply make another one, or post it on the BTL page, and will do so again again again until it is accepted, and you cant ban me either cuz I have access to muti computers, and it would be fultile to do so Kanga-Kucha

the Big W has forggeten it's very prupose, and is now bouged downe by red tape, so sad Kanga-Kucha

edits were made to this article before, and until now we have had no problems, this article is still relative to people who play BTL, read and love the little history bits, but do no have any other way to view all of them, deletion of this article would be a crime and an injustice to them Kanga-Kucha
