Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Jeri Ryan, you will be blocked from editing. --Yamla 06:13, 18 March 2007 (UTC)

Please explain to me how I vandalized the Jeri Ryan page - all I did was edit the star trek actors pages to include the birth date & age template so their age also appears, moved any images on the page up to the actor box if there was no image present in the actor box, and found an image template on other actor's pages that someone created to ask people that may have free licensed images to please submit them - if this template is not an approved template for the image, then i am sorry, i didn't know that it wasn't. the other work i was improving upon the pages - i removed nothing from any of the pages, just moved the images up and included more information. please explain your warning, i just don't understand74.204.40.46 04:06, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Succession boxes

  1. Billboard is the title of a magazine, so it should be italised like [[Billboard 200|''Billboard'' 200]].
  2. "Number" and "album" aren't proper nouns when referring to a "Number 1 Album", so those words should not be capitalised. Also, it is precedent on Wikipedia to write single digit numbers in words; thus, "number-one album", not "Number 1 Album".
  3. I also think it is better for non-U.S. readers if they know straight away which country the Billboard 200 represents (e.g. by writing "U.S. Billboard 200"), though this isn't as important.

[edit] May 2007

Please refrain from making test edits in Wikipedia articles, such as those you made to Thermophile, even if your ultimate intention is to fix them. Such edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Will (aka Wimt) 01:07, 10 May 2007 (UTC)

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

[edit] Ford Taurus

hey there, sir anonymous! I just wanted to let you know that I reverted your edits to Ford Taurus. Don't worry, you didn't do anything wrong. The thing is that we go by the highest quality image as the image we stick in the infobox, not by the current model. I just wanted to let you know that and happy editing!

Sorry for not signing, I just occasionally forget to do that. Anyways, we are trying to do that. The problem is that since the 2008 Taurus is so new, not too many have found their way on the streets yet. Hopefully, within a couple of months, they will manage to get more on the streets and we can snap a photo of one. Karrmann 12:27, 9 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] WP:IFD taggings

Hi there,

I noticed that you tagged a number of images for deletion through WP:IFD today without explaining why. I was actually contesting one when it hit me--the only images you tagged are those which fail the replaceability requirement of WP:NFCC. Seeing as how many of these images are used in articles and have been listed automatically on the deletion log by User:BJBot (who, naturally, does not provide a rationale for deletion), can I suggest that you take a few minutes to comment on the deletion discussions in order to explain the reasons behind your tagging? I can't claim to be particularly familiar with IfD, but it seems that without a rationale for deletion, the closing admin may make fail to see the same thing I did and default to keep. Thanks! --jonny-mt 13:24, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
