Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. You may not know that Wikipedia has a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Using different styles throughout the encyclopedia, as you did to Toni Morrison, makes it harder to read. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. if you would like to see a change in the template, you are welcome to open a discussion and make a proposal. until then, please do not continue to add nobel tokens to infoboxes. emerson7 14:16, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Please don't blank your own talk page
Hello. In case you didn't know, it's considered bad wikiquette to remove content from your own talk page that others have placed there. It's like a record of what people have talked to you about - if the stuff is offensive or highly personal you can remove it, but things like warnings (like the unsourced image ones above) or welcome notices (or even past discussions) should be left alone for archival purposes. If your talk page gets too long, the approved method of removing content is to archive it, preferably with the Move method. Thanks. If you have any queries, don't hesitate to ask me. --02:28, 26 September 2007 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Nat Turner, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.VirginiaProp 00:18, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
I only deleted vandalism by the contributor before me. 74.185.0.47 11:09, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to William Styron. Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add your original reference to the article. Contact me if you need assistance adding references. Thank you. This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
