Hey, I'm gonna try and create a controversy section similar to how you suggested. However, I'd need multiple sources for it, so if you don't mind could you find some more sources like http://msn.foxsports.com/other/story/7170510 that point out stuff like the assault being called a "schoolyard fight"? If you choose to do so, don't get sources that have incorrect info. Get sources that point out the controversy created by incorrect facts. Thanks. Ophois 05:50, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
- I see what you are saying.. you need articles that talk about the problem caused by the incorrect fact... not just the incorrect fact. I see the problem as just being the fact that the news reports are so grossly distorted - and not the fact that the news reports being distorted is causing problems.. vast amounts of news reports being systematically distorted is a huge problem in and of itself here. When I first heard about this story - my first question was "what happened to this poor kid?" And it took me FOREVER to find out the guys name and his injuries.. I looked at all the major news media about a week ago and couldn't find anything. Atleast one side of the story is being told... I'm glad wikipedia is out there.. or i still wouldn't have heard about mychal bell's criminal history... Anyway - I see what you are looking for and I will keep an eye out for it.

Hi, there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot 15:58, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
