[edit] Regarding edits to Lesli Kay
Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia, 74.15.9.195! However, your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the link you added, matching rule proboards\d{1,3}\.com, is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. Please read Wikipedia's external links policy for more information. If the link was to an image, please read Wikipedia's image tutorial on how to use a more appropriate method to insert the image into an article. If your link was intended to promote a site you own, are affiliated with, or will make money from inclusion in Wikipedia, please note that inserting spam into Wikipedia is against policy. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! Shadowbot 17:53, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Welcome
Welcome!
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions.
Currently, you are editing without a username. You can continue to do so, as you are not required to log in to Wikipedia to read and edit articles; however, logging in will result in a username being shown instead of your IP address (yours is 74.15.9.195). Logging in does not require any personal details, and there are many other benefits for logging in.
When you edit pages:
- Please respect others' copyrights; do not copy and paste the contents from webpages directly.
- Please use a neutral point of view when editing articles; this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add unreasonable contents into any articles, such as copyrighted text, advertisement messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Adding such content or editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism.
The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. For now, if you are stuck, you can click the edit this page tab above, type {{helpme}} in the edit box, and then click Save Page; an experienced Wikipedian will be around shortly to answer any questions you may have. Also feel free to ask a question on my talk page. I will answer your questions as far as I can! Thank you again for contributing to Wikipedia. -- ReyBrujo 19:08, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Re: Lesli Kay - Board Removed
Hi there. I understand your indignation. However, we have our own set of rules for external links, and boards are heavily discouraged. If it is the official board, then the official site will have a link to it, which makes a link in the Wikipedia entry superfluous. And the fact that the boards can only be checked after the user registered goes against our own policies: the external links are supposed to be useful for everyone. If you need to register an account in order to view the contents, then it is not useful for casual readers. I know the worries of spam, but Wikipedia does not forbid anyone from at least reading the contents of the site, and we expect external links to at least have that courtesy in order to be inserted here. Thanks for understanding. -- ReyBrujo 19:08, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
