[edit] Regarding edits made 18 February 2007 to Star Wreck: In the Pirkinning

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent contribution removed content from an article. Please be more careful when editing articles and do not remove content from Wikipedia without a good reason, which should be specified in the edit summary. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Thank you. BJTalk 06:49, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

Sorry about that. BJTalk 20:51, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for the apology. I know vandalism is a problem on Wikipedia, but I think it's a bigger problem when people fighting it catch anonymous contributors like me in the crossfire. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 74.141.144.170 (talk) 23:50, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

Just a suggestion, you could register an account and have a much less chance of having your edits reverted by accident. Plus it only takes a few seconds. BJTalk 00:11, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
I could do that, but it is in the spirit of Wikipedia to allow anonymous edits. Just because I choose to post anonymously should not mean my posts are more readily reverted. If this trend continues, then information contributed by anonymous editors will be lost, and I imagine there are a great many beneficial anonymous edits. I believe it to be the responsibility of other editors to ACTUALLY READ edits before reverting them. It only takes a few seconds. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 74.141.144.170 (talk) 00:36, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
It had nothing to do with not reading the edit, in this case my software malfunctioned and reverted your edit and not the vandal edit to another page. BJTalk 01:21, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
