[edit] English Moor
Hello. I was about to comment/answer on the hook when I got an edit conflict, apparently you just moved it. Just in case:
- I think it would sell short the salient point that attracted me most. But of course, a hook requiring gloss isn't very good, so I'll add a less esoteric one:
- OR: ...that in the 1659 English play The English Moor, noted for its use of blackface make-up, one main character implies that Blacks and Whites are created equal by God? -- November 18 new article by User:Ugajin; Nom by — Komusou talk @ 14:50, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
Of course I leave it at your discretion, I'm glad enough that an expired nom about a little-known play is making at all ;-) — Komusou talk @ 14:50, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:Did_you_know#Breaking_the_rules.3F Note that if there is a consensus for expired hooks, all of those in the hold category can be exempted and placed one at a time on the next update. Mrs.EasterBunny (talk) 16:22, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
