[edit] National Animals
The Moose is not an official Canadian animal. Both the Beaver and Canadian Horse are, as referenced in Wikipedia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Likemike1 (talk • contribs) 17:44, August 24, 2007 (UTC)
How do you know it is not? I've never heard of the Candian Horse and the moose is even on the canadian quarter. Give me a reference or a link to show that a horse is Canada's national animal or I'm changing it back.
Laisinteresting
Here are a few links to official Government sites proving the Canadian Horse as an official animal as well as another site referencing all other official Canadian symbols [1][2][3]
The animal presently on the Canadian quarter is a caribou [4]. Many animals have been used on Canadian quarters and other coins over the years, but the only official Canadian animal symbols are the Beaver and the Canadian Horse. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Likemike1 (talk • contribs) 16:45, August 26, 2007 (UTC)
