72nd Street is a bi-level local station on the IND Eighth Avenue Line. Northbound service is on the upper level while southbound service on the lower level. This station is located along Central Park West, with entrances and exits at West 72nd Street and Central Park West. There is evidence of a closed exit at the south end.
