[edit] Travel guide notes for African-American neighborhoods in Pittsburgh
Your POV is not necessary, nor is it wanted. These are not travel guides, and Wikipedia does not take a stance on how dangerous these Black neighborhoods are. Thanks, Chris Griswold (☎☓) 06:37, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to the Lincoln-Lemington-Belmar page. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. If you feel that the edit I reverted should not have been reverted, please contact me. --Chris (talk) 00:46, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
For your obscene comment added Please stop. If you continue to vandalise Wikipedia, as you did to User talk:72.95.168.154, you will be blocked. Xiahou 00:47, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
I wouldn't make obscene comments if you people wouldn't leave me smart-alecked messages. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.95.168.154 (talk • contribs)
- so make constructive edits following wiki policy to wikipedia. Putting vulgar statements on pages then expecting to be taken seriously is hard for some editors to understand and they sure won't condone. --Xiahou 00:53, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
First off, Xiahou, I really don't feel that relevant information about Black neighborhoods in Pittsburgh is vulgar. Second, if admins don't want people to add their own content to pages, they should make it a pay service to edit pages, or other appropriate action. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.95.168.154 (talk • contribs)
- so your saying the edit you made here [[1]] click the link. is acceptable? ok.... On side note be sure to sign with the 4 'twiddles' ~ --Xiahou 00:59, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
No, that edit wasn't. But edits I made last night that Chris decided to delete were. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.95.168.154 (talk • contribs)
- Which edits were those? This is the only edit I recall reverting. --Chris (talk) 01:04, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
For the IP user - Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you!
[edit] Personal attacks and vandalism
Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. If this is an IP address, and it is shared by multiple users, ignore this warning if you did not make any unconstructive edits. Chris Griswold (☎☓) 07:52, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
Now what did I do? 72.95.168.154 15:44, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
Look, ChrisGriswold, I don't want any problems. My sole intention of editing the Pittsburgh pages was to add information, not to vandalize them. I apologize for this going out of control, and I won't vandalize or make personal attacks anymore. Let's just put this behind us. 72.95.168.154 15:54, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
- That's fine with me. Is this the response you are sticking to? It was the XFL article I was referring to; I should have clarified. --Chris Griswold (☎☓) 20:07, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
I'm sticking to it. I want to edit here just as much as anyone else does. Maybe I should read up on the rules a little bit. Thanks for understanding. 72.95.168.154 02:21, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
