This IP address has been repeatedly blocked from editing Wikipedia in response to abuse of editing privileges.
Further abuse from this IP address may result in an extended block.
Attention:

This host, pool-72-72-229-135.altnpa.east.verizon.net, is registered to Verizon Internet Services Inc. for customer accounts in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, US,, and may be shared by multiple users. If the organization uses proxy servers or firewalls, this IP address may in fact represent many users at many physical computers.

For this reason, a message intended for one person may be received by another and a block may be shared by many. If you are editing from this address and are frustrated by irrelevant messages, you can avoid them by creating an account for yourself. In some cases, you may temporarily be unable to create an account due to efforts to fight vandalism; if so, please see here.

If you are autoblocked repeatedly, we encourage you to contact your Internet service provider or IT department and ask them to contact Wikimedia's XFF project about enabling X-Forwarded-For HTTP headers on their proxy servers so that our editing blocks will affect only the intended user. Alternatively, you can list the IP at Wikipedia:WikiProject on XFFs.

Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking - if a block is needed, administrators should consider using a soft block with the template {{anonblock|optional comment}} as the block reason.

Note: In the event of vandalism from this address, abuse reports may be sent to your network administrator for further investigation.
IT staff who want to monitor vandalism from this IP address can subscribe to a web feed of this page in either RSS or Atom format.

[edit] Unban Request

This blocked user (block log | autoblocks | rangeblocks | unblock | contribs | deleted contribs) has asked to be unblocked, but an administrator has reviewed and declined this request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock request while you are blocked.

Request reason: "Apparently some moron who shares my IP has been making stupid edits. I just found this out when I tried to edit some information into an Altoona, PA related page. I then went to my talk page. I found that edits related to everything from football to grocery stores to traditional reference articles have been vandalized by this person. If the problem persists, I'll just make an account, but for now could you unblock this IP?"

Decline reason: "This IP address has an extensive history of vandalism, and was blocked less than two days ago. I don't feel comfortable unblocking it, knowing that in another two days it could be back vandalizing. I suggest going ahead and making an account; only anonymous users have been blocked from this IP. — Haemo 00:57, 8 October 2007 (UTC)"

Please make any further unblock requests by using the {{unblock}} template. However, abuse of the template may result in your talk page being protected.

This is the only warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.

Who made you an admin? Last time I checked you're a regular user with no block powers, so your block templates lack any bite. You seem like a suck-up who uses templates hoping to be a wikiadmin someday. Guess what? You're not going to be an admin that way!

[edit] I see.....

Apparently I was banned because I called it as it is, the guy is a suckup with no admin powers. When I pointed that out he squealed to one of you guys I bet.

Some people just can't handle the truth. This guy was not an admin, but acted like one anyway (complete with a threat that he'd block me if I continued in an edit war, even though he doesn't have any block power more than I do), and now a simple edit war is painted as vandalism.

There's too many wikibabies here (including the guy pissed off that he got blocked for sharing an IP with me). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.72.229.135 (talkcontribs) 07:58, October 10, 2007 (UTC)

Actually, almost all warning messages are left by non-admin users. That is intentionally how our anti-vandalism measures work: regular editors monitor and leave warnings, then report to Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism for administrator action only when necessary. For the full policy, please see Wikipedia:Vandalism. Sorry for the misunderstanding. —  Satori Son 11:47, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
