[edit] Welcome
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- Tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Manual of Style
Here are some other hints and tips:
- I would recommend that you get a username. You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, requires no personal information, and there are many benefits of having a username. (If you edit without a username, your IP address is used to identify you instead.)
- When using talk pages, please sign your name at the end of your messages by typing four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically produce your username (or IP address) and the date.
If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my Talk page, or type {{helpme}} on this talk page and a user will help you as soon as possible. I will answer your questions as far as I can. Again, welcome!
Thank you again for contributing to Wikipedia. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian. Yuser31415 (Editor review two!) 06:31, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Stub status
I see you have been adding stub status to several articles, such as Dan Gable and Robin Reed. However, these articles are long enough to not qualify as stubs any more. Please read Wikipedia:Stub before re-tagging any more articles as stubs, only very short articles should be marked as stubs. Other than that your edits are much appreciated. Thanks, VegaDark 06:44, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
- I see you have re-tagged the articles as stubs. Your edits to amateur wrestling articles are very much appreciated, but continuing to tag articles that are not stubs as stubs can be considered disruption. Once again, I ask that you read the policy linked above on stubs before re-tagging any articles that don't qualify. Thanks, VegaDark 04:39, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Your use of image:Olympic rings.svg
Please do not add the Olympic rings image to the medal box for various sports related articles. This is a copyright image which is used on Wikipedia under restricted fair usage. I have removed many of them, please remove the rest and do not use this image this way in the future. Thanks.
Looking over your edits, I must say you look like User:Harvardlaw. Are you? --EarthPerson 01:44, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Blocked user
This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
