Whoops, sorry about that, Chief!

[edit] Superman

I've seen that, it's been corrected. The Preceeded bys and Followed bys are meant to establish when the films were made, not where they fall in continuity. If you were to follow that rule all the Indiana Jones movies would be in a different order, seeing as they were not sequentially made. Superman Returns follows Superman IV, but, it retcons all events in that movie. Just because it retcons it doesn't mean that it doesn't follow it. We use this to establish that it was the next movie made in the series, not where it falls in the series. Thank you. If you have any questions regarding this, please see the Talk page for Superman Returns, there is a section devoted to the "preceeded by". If you continue to change it without discussing on the talk page I will have to report you for the 3 revert rule violation. Bignole 01:49, 23 June 2006 (UTC)

I appreciate you going to the discussion page to talk it out, but the majority have agreed that Superman IV preceeds Superman Returns. That is the point of "preceeded by". If you want to say Superman II, which Superman Returns really isn't a sequel to (i.e. Singer says so himself, it's a vague history), then you label it "sequels or prequels". Different titles go with different things. Superman Lives does not follow Superman IV, because Superman Lives didn't even get out of production, so it can't follow it. By reverting it when the majority have agreed to a different decision you are violating the 3RR. Look here at Wikipedia: Vandalism for more on that. Bignole 05:39, 25 June 2006 (UTC)

  1. Please refrain from removing content from Wikipedia, as you did to Talk:Superman Returns. It is considered vandalism. If you want to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. – Someguy0830 (Talk | contribs) 20:02, 25 June 2006 (UTC)

This is your last warning. The next time you remove content from a page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Revert a message of mine again on the Superman Talk page and you will be blocked. Bignole 20:10, 25 June 2006 (UTC)

All right, sorry. No more, no more. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.200.147.16 (talkcontribs) 20:14, 25 June 2006

Please see WP:OWN. Thanks Jaranda wat's sup 05:50, 8 July 2006 (UTC)

I blocked you for 48 hours for a very severe case of WP:OWN, you need to accept other people edits, you don't own the article, if you want to improve it that's fine but don't revert everyone edits. Thanks Jaranda wat's sup 05:57, 8 July 2006 (UTC)

I'm sorry? 48 hours?! Jeez, what is the world coming to around here...look, I know I don't own the article, but, really, I'd like to preserve my changes for all the world to see, even though they'll never know the author. It's like sending something special out into the world, you know? Peace out. _72.200.147.16 06:59, 8 July 2006 (UTC)

I've been blocked before. What am I, the straw man that everyone likes to knock down? It seems downright rude. Please, if you could lay off a little, then that could be just fine. Okay? _72.200.147.16 20:30, 10 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Blocked

You have been blocked from editing Wikipedia for the next 31 hours because of repeated reversions to the Superman Lives article. See the block log for more details. If you want to contribute constructively, you may return when the block expires. Thanks. You might like to consider calmly and rationally discussing your proposed changes on the article's talk page before you restart any editing in 31 hours or so. Unilateral changes by you to this article will, like as not, result in further blocking to the point of permanent blocks. Thanks. ЯEDVERS 20:46, 10 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Bronstein

No-one calls Trotsky by his official lasts name Bronstein. The substitution makes the article look weird. It's like saying Springer, when everyone says Jerry. Or like saying Clause, when everyone says Santa. ActiveSelective 20:45, 19 July 2006 (UTC)

The article, prior to changes, looked, in part, like this: Trotsky escaped from Siberia in the summer of 1902, having stolen a passport in the name of "Trotsky".... It's too repetitive, and affects the flow of the page; hence, the change. C ya! _72.200.147.16 20:56, 19 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your September 26/27 edits
