- Staying cool is good advice from you for me, Terence, just as the advice I gave to you about not vandalizing the Ali Sina article (which you did, or someone who had logged into your account did when deleting all of Ali Sina's opinions and replacing them with an assertion that all he does is lie, or something along those lines) was good advice from me to you, and was not an attack, but just good advice. Maybe I shouldn't have given you advice at all on your user talk page, and maybe you were already aware that you had done wrong and therefore what I wrote was just redundant. I don't know. Frankly, I don't thik I did what you think I did, and I read the NPA policy and saw no examples that covered my action of expressing displeasure against vandalism in the way that I did (which I won't repeat here, even though it was a mild expression of displeasure) and warning against it. I also read the [[Wikipedia:Blocking policy[blocks]] and the list of what would lead to blocks did not cover anything I wrote. Anyhow, I thank you for your advice for me to stay cool, and if you don't mind, I would like to suggest you do the same, especially with regards to the writings of Ali Sina and anyone else whose views might not be in clear accordance with your own. Stay cool and be reasonable. ~Me, 6 July 2006 2:12 ET
Please refrain from adding nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to Destructive cult. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. If you believe this edit should not have been reverted, please contact me. Daniel Olsen 05:51, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
- Daniel Olsen, it wasn't nonsense. At least, in my opinion it wasn't nonsense. I guess to you it appeared to be nonsense, but that would just be your opinion. Anyhow, I wrote to you about it and you wrote back "You cannot simply add contentious material like that onto wikipedia. Your personal opinion that islam is a destructive cult is not fit for wikipedia. If you would like to cite some sources to support your statement and present the information in Neutral point of view, feel free to do so. --Daniel Olsen 06:00, 13 September 2006 (UTC)". Well, sir, I think there are plenty of sources to support the view that islam is a destrucive cult, such as those written by Robert Spencer, Ali Sina, Ibn Warraq, Craig Winn, and others. Perhaps some time I will get around to following your instructions, applying them to the page entitled destructive cult, or maybe someone else with more spare time will take care of the matter instead of me. ~Me, 30 September 2006 3:51 AM ET
