71st Academy Awards nominees and winners

The nominees for the 71st Academy Awards were announced on February 9, 1999 by Academy president Robert Rehme and actor Kevin Spacey, at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in the Academy's Beverly Hills headquarters. The winners were announced March 21 at a ceremony at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles, California.
