Hi, welcome. Wikipedia has a guideline that all articles must be verified by "multiple, non-trivial published works from sources that are reliable and independent of the subject itself and each other" to meet a minimum standard of notability. You're right, a lot of articles don't actually meet our minimum standards, but that's not an accepted reason for allowing other articles that don't meet them, and those articles are likely to b is agreed thartainly willing to continue discussing this if you wish; Let me know on my talk page if you have any questions or want to discuss anything. delldot | talk 06:47, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
