I left the following message on User talk:David Schaich: You left me {{anon}} on my user page. I appreciate the welcome and the suggestion that I get a username. As you can see from my contributions I'm not new around here. Indeed, I used to have a username and edited that way. Editing anonymously is my way of limiting the amount of time I spend on Wikipedia, and it prevents me from getting inmeshed administrative disputes (like AfD, etc) that I got involved in when I edited with a username.
