[edit] Koda (software)

Hi Bary, and thank you for your message. The entry was deleted because someone expressed concerns that the software was not meeting our notability criteria for inclusion. After a quick look, I am afraid that is indeed the case. The reason behind this criteria is to ensure that we keep the encyclopedia as accurate as possible. In short, we need that independent reliable source (the mainstream media) cover a subject before we can add it, in order to minimize the danger of ill balanced entries (promotion). If you wish to contest this deletion after reading through WP:NOTE, and a failed but accurate similar rule specifically targeting software, and of course finding a few reliable sources, I can temporarily restore the entry and ask for broader community input. But, as an outsider, I believe Koda does not meed the criteria at that time. If you need further help, please don't hesitate to post on my talk page or to put {{helpme}} followed by your question on this page. -- lucasbfr talk 13:49, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
