[edit] Blocked for 3 months

CheckUser evidence has determined that this IP address (or network) has been used abusively.
This address (or network) has been blocked temporarily or permanently to prevent further abuse.

In extreme cases, an entire network may be blocked to prevent an abusive user from continually changing their IP address in order to evade blocks or abusing multiple accounts. If you are a registered user and are seeing this message, please follow these instructions.

Administrators: CheckUsers are privy to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy, and therefore must be consulted before this block can be removed.

This IP has been blocked for 3 months as it is only used by Velebit and socks. Reversion of this message or any other warnings presently on the page will result in page protection to prevent disruptive edits. Admins: Do not unblock without contacting a checkuser. ++Lar: t/c 17:32, 11 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] User Lar

Let to be noted that not a single checkuser ever claimed this nonsense! Apparently aligned with Croatian nationalists - see here [1]--71.252.83.230 01:08, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

This blocked user (block log | autoblocks | rangeblocks | unblock | contribs | deleted contribs) has asked to be unblocked, but an administrator has reviewed and declined this request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock request while you are blocked.

Request reason: "This is an apparent nonsense due to the fact that this is a public IP address that is mapped to many private addresses - checked with Verizon ISP Customer Service represenattive"

Decline reason: "Let it be noted that I am a checkuser and I have validated the correlation between this IP and the disruptive user Velebit and his socks. Who asked for the check is not a relevant matter. I will be happy to review the evidence with other CUs. — ++Lar: t/c 04:16, 12 September 2007 (UTC)"

Please make any further unblock requests by using the {{unblock}} template. However, abuse of the template may result in your talk page being protected.

Request reason: "First of all, the claim is "Abusing multiple accounts: Only used by socks of Velebit/Guivon". As I already checked with Verizon ISP Customer Service representative - their NAT service maps this public IP address to many private IP addresses. This Lar as a checkuser must know that a public IP address is not a unique identification of a user. I never used any accounts attributed frivolously to me. My edits were: added a reference to Sajmiste concentration camp paragraph, refused removal a few sentences from Neo-Nazism, Croatia and refused changes in the Ante Pavelic introductory. Explained reasons in the subject lines and on the talk page. So, nothing disruptive, rather legal and honest. All malicious text on this talk pages I have full rights to remove any time. It is too apparent that this Lar abused his/her checkuser and administrator rights in order to support others who are on some friendly terms with her/him and who harassed me this way. I am definitely going to present this case to the Wikipedia arbitration committee - no matter would someone remove this block or not --71.252.83.230 20:02, 15 September 2007 (UTC)"

Decline reason: "The involved checkuser declined your request. I'll point him to your message but only him, an other checkuser, or a member of the WP:ARBCOM is allowed to process this request. Meanwhile, your ability to read Wikipedia articles is not impacted. -- lucasbfr talk 20:14, 15 September 2007 (UTC)"

Please make any further unblock requests by using the {{unblock}} template. However, abuse of the template may result in your talk page being protected.

I am aware of how Verizon allocates IP addresses, and yet the recent contributions from this IP are nevertheless consistent with it being used only by socks of Velebit/Guivon. That's my considered opinion in evaluating the evidence available to me. I welcome review of my actions, as always, including referral to ArbCom. The block is not indefinite, and reading is not impacted. As a note, no user has any "rights" with regard to any pages. All pages, even the user talk page of a user, or IP, belong to the community, not to any particular user, and disruptive or harassing postings can be removed as needed in order to allow for a harmonious editing environment. ++Lar: t/c 00:58, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

Per this thread on unblock-en-l, it's apparent that User:Velebit is still active on this IP address. --  Netsnipe  ►  06:34, 27 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] December 2007

This is your last warning. You must use this talk page in a constructive, civil manner, instead of disrupting. If you make any more unconstructive edits to this talk page, the page will be temporarily protected, and you would be unable to communicate with others. Alexfusco5 23:08, 11 December 2007 (UTC)

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
