If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Terence Koh, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:
- editing articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
- participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors;
- linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam);
- and you must always:
- avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially neutral point of view, verifiability, and autobiography.
For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Business' FAQ. For more details about what constitutes a conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Conflict of Interest. Thank you. freshacconcispeaktome 20:27, 14 January 2008 (UTC)

If you're his assistant, you shouldn't be editing his article, as that is a conflict of interest (see my message above). All information about living people need to follow WP:BLP strictly. Changing his date of birth would need some sort of verification. Wikipedia isn't meant to be for promotional purposes. All information should be verifiable. His date of birth has been listed as 1977 on Wikipedia for some time now. If you have actual proof of a different birth date, you could contact an administrator and provide him or her a copy of a birth certificate (via email) if there is no third-party source available. But a third-party source is preferable. We simply can't take you on your word that you are his assistant and he wants information corrected. The danger here is someone wishing to "rewrite" their biography for self-promotional purposes. I'd suggest you contact an administrator and if you are actually Koh's assistant, you can provide verification of his year of birth. But I do need to remind you that you shouldn't be editing his article yourself. Thank you. freshacconcispeaktome 22:10, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
- An administrator with an art focus that you could contact is User:Tyrenius who you could email directly. freshacconcispeaktome 22:17, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
- You really need to stop editing the article. You claim to be Koh's assistant. This is a conflict of interest. The date change needs to be verified. Contact the administrator above, or another one of your choosing. Thank you. freshacconcispeaktome 22:23, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
- If you want to send an email, click on User:Tyrenius. On the left of the screen there is a "toolbox" and there's a link to "email this user." That sends a message to Tyrenius' personal email. Otherwise, just go to Tyrenius' talk page (which is public). Thanks. freshacconcispeaktome 22:33, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
- You can post to User talk:Tyrenius (new posts at the bottom of the page). I have replied to your email. Tyrenius (talk) 22:54, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
