Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions.

Currently, you are editing without a username. You can continue to do so, as you are not required to log in to Wikipedia to read and edit articles; however, logging in will result in a username being shown instead of your IP address (yours is 71.242.127.31). Logging in does not require any personal details, and there are many other benefits for logging in.

When you edit pages:

  • Please respect others' copyrights; do not copy and paste the contents from webpages directly.
  • Please use a neutral point of view when editing articles; this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
  • If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
  • Do not add unreasonable contents into any articles, such as copyrighted text, advertisement messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Adding such content or editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism.

The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. For now, if you are stuck, you can click the edit this page tab above, type {{helpme}} in the edit box, and then click Save Page; an experienced Wikipedian will be around shortly to answer any questions you may have. Also feel free to ask a question on my talk page. I will answer your questions as far as I can! Thank you again for contributing to Wikipedia. John Vandenberg 21:40, 12 March 2007 (UTC)

This is the only warning you will receive for your disruptive edits. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did to Arctic Tern, you will be blocked from editing. Kuru talk 02:36, 29 April 2007 (UTC)

You have been blocked from editing for 24 hours in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy as a result of your repeated abuse of editing privileges. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified you may contest this block by replying here on your talk page by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} . Kuru talk 02:40, 29 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] June 2007

Please do not delete content from articles on Wikipedia, as you did to Undersheriff. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. {{{2|Thank you Lradrama 13:51, 4 June 2007 (UTC)

Sorry about that, but mistakes are inevitable on RC Patrol. Thanks for not vandalising my userpage like most people do. Once again sorry. Lradrama 14:11, 4 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Regarding edits made 14:04, 9 August 2007 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although we invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Washington Crossing Historic Park, did not appear to be constructive and has been automatically reverted by ClueBot. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you believe there has been a mistake and would like to report a false positive, please report it here and then remove this vandal warning tag from your talk page. If your edit was not vandalism, please feel free to make your edit again after reporting it. The following is the log entry regarding this warning: Washington Crossing Historic Park was changed by 71.242.127.31 (c) (t) deleting 11649 characters on 2007-08-09T14:04:14Z. Thank you. ClueBot 14:04, 9 August 2007 (UTC)

The edit was done because someone previously cut and pasted the entire Washington Crossing the Delaware article to the Washington Crossing Historic Park article. I removed the bulk of the cut and pasted article. User:Tomtom90411030 EST 9 Aug 2007

[edit] October 2007

Please refrain from making test edits in Wikipedia articles, such as those you made to Category:Amphibious units and formations, even if your ultimate intention is to fix them. Such edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Thank you. --Oxymoron83 14:31, 25 October 2007 (UTC)
