[edit] October 2007

Please do not add POV content to articles on Wikipedia, as you did to Lonnie Frisbee. Your edits do not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use Wikipedia:Sandbox for test edits. Thank you. Cheers, Benjiboi 09:25, 18 October 2007 (UTC)

Please do not add POV and possibly slanderous content to articles on Wikipedia, as you did to Lonnie Frisbee. Your edits do not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Re-add slanderous items (rape and father abandonemnt) only if ref per WP:RS; you may also want to read up on WP:BIO, WP:Verify and WP:NPOV If you would like to experiment, please use Wikipedia:Sandbox for test edits. Thank you. Cheers, Benjiboi 20:38, 18 October 2007 (UTC)

This is the only warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you delete or blank page contents or templates from Wikipedia, as you did to Lonnie Frisbee, you will be blocked from editing. Do not remove valid sourced content from articles on Wikipedia. -- ALLSTAR ECHO 06:11, 19 October 2007 (UTC)

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

[edit] Your recent edits

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button Image:Wikisigbutton.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot 14:55, 18 October 2007 (UTC)

Blogs and third-party commentary "guessing" about what someone else meant without proof is unacceptable source on Wikipedia. As such, I have reverted your edit to Lonnie Frisbee. Your source provides commentary by a one "James" on a blog. James makes the statement that David di Sabatino said that Frisbee was raped. Do you have source/proof that David di Sabatino said that other than a third-party (James) saying he said it? -- ALLSTAR ECHO 05:53, 19 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Format for source citations

When putting in a source citation, please follow the style guidelines and do it like the example below instead of just placing a link between [ and ] brackets:

<ref name=open>{{cite web |first=Erik|last=Jansson|url=http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-6833129779160574833 |title=Lonnie Frisbee ministering at Vineyard Church in Dever CO|accessdate=2007-10-18 }}</ref>

[edit] Usage:

Change ref name to a name not already in use in the references list.

Change "first=" to the first name of the author of the source and change "last=" to the last name of the author of the source.

Change "url=" to the web url location of the source.

Change "title=" to the title of the source such as news article name or video title.

Change "accessdate=" to the date you came across the source and added it to the article.

This is the accepted style for source inclusion. Please follow it so others don't have to come behind you to clean up your mess. Thanks. -- ALLSTAR ECHO 07:17, 19 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Vandalism

You have been temporarily blocked from editing in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for abuse of editing privileges. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below.

[edit] WP:Civilty please

Please cease and desist from your rantings. It's really quite hard to separate your valid concerns from all the rest. Instead of shouting and assuming people can't possibly edit the way you think should happen perhaps you could propose some text instead. It's very frustrating to try to improve articles when being yelled at. Benjiboi 19:59, 20 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Please stop

Please don't come falsely claim things on my talk page. I never claimed Frisbee founded two ministries and I don't believe that is true and have stated such on the article talk pages where I suggest you stick to with content issues about that article rather than accusing others of misbehavior. Myself, and other editors, have and will continue to revert and edits which don't conform to wp standards including WP:NPOV, WP:RS and WP:V. Alleging that I have sinned also seems akin to a personal attck so please stop. Benjiboi 17:33, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Personal attacks and accusations - please stop

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, we remind you not to attack other editors, as you did on User talk:Benjiboi. Please comment on the contributions and not the contributors. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Benjiboi 20:47, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, we must insist that you assume good faith while interacting with other editors, which you did not on Talk:Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Benjiboi 20:47, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Your edits to Talk:Ann Coulter

Your edits to Talk:Ann Coulter were inappropriate and have been removed. If you continue to make non-constructive edits you may be blocked.

I see that many of your contributions have been reverted. I hope that your edits were made in good faith but that you might not be aware of many of Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you need assistance in learning our policies, then I will try to help. You could also talk with other users and ask for advice on how you can improve your edits to meet Wikipedia standards. Sbowers3 18:08, 27 October 2007 (UTC)

Just FYI, these were your comments:

On a side note. Look at that new photo of her in turquoise. She has got LUSCIOUS breasts. The fact that the liberal narrative suggests Ann Coulter is really 'man', proves to me at least, that there's is some bizzare pathololgy in the liberal mindset when it comes to healthy sexual attraction between men and women.71.238.68.127 07:21, 27 October 2007 (UTC)

Another editor reverted them with the comment "that's just not constructive" and even if he agrees and even if I agree with your general sentiment, he was correct to remove your edit. A note at the top of the page explains that "This is the talk page for discussing improvements to the Ann Coulter article. This is not a forum for general discussion about the article's subject." As Wikipedia editors our job is to improve the encyclopedia, not to chit-chat about the subjects.
I actually agree with you that her talk page has a lot of other hateful and vicious comments. FWIW, I just happened to see your comments, noticed that you were a new user, that you seemed to be having difficulty abiding by some of Wiipedia's policies and thought it might be helpful to let you know that you might be headed for a block, and that there are people such as myself who would be happy to advise you about Wikipedia's policies. (And yes, a whole lot of other people also need some not so gentle advice about Wikipedia policies.) Sbowers3 23:48, 29 October 2007 (UTC)
As User:Wj32 pointed out (on my talk page), many of us examine the Recent changes page of Wikipedia's. I look at the most recent 100 changes by anonymous (aka IP) editors. Many are vandalism. I warn them and, if appropriate, report them. Your contribution was not vandalism but was inappropriate. I gave you some good advice. In the short time you have been here you have been warned many times and blocked once. If you continue on your current path, someone is going to block you for longer and longer durations. It probably won't be me because there is a good chance that I will never again accidentally notice one of your edits. There is no point in continuing this conversation. You can decide whether to accept my good advice or not.
P.S. the best way to respond to other uncivil editors (e.g. on the Ann Coulter page) is to be extremely civil yourself. The contrast between your civility and their incivility will make you look better. Right now your (slight) incivility makes you look bad; it will not help you to persuade others that you are right. [edit] Talk:Lonnie Frisbee

When using article talk page, comment on the article, not people who contribute to it. Thanks Rjd0060 (talk) 15:12, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
