[edit] Grenoble
It is actually factual. It was documented in the movie 'the whores of grenoble' and archival material regarding drug running/red brigade activity in the Isere. It seems also to be a political act to decide what is controversial/uncontroversial?
Do you have a paid role for the French Administration? Do you have a commerical interest (as many British people in the area do) in having a 'clean' reputation for the city?
As recent riots proved, it's not by hiding information that the realities on the ground go away.
Your answer is well-written, whether you understand it or not, you are acting as a political censor... so wikipedia's entry is your way, or the highway! How reminiscent of faciscm and communism... You are the kind of person behind the United Kingdom's D notice.
Can't readers be allowed to see what is factual and what is commentary?
Wikipedia is not the place to make political points. Your edits were more suited to a newspaper editorial or blog than an encylopedia. Statements like "The Italian mafia's influence can be seen in the absurdly large number of Pizza restaurants along the waterfront." don't belong here, even as a joke. ... discospinster talk 17:59, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
