[edit] April 2007

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to The Morrow Project. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. pIrish talk, contribs 22:42, 27 April 2007 (UTC)

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

[edit] Regarding the "as per PIrish" stuff

Stop stating "as per PIrish" in your edit summaries. I'm not the one who created the policy and I'm not forcing you to follow it, I only tried to help you understand it so you can become a more productive and positive member of Wikipedia. Stating "as per WP:EL" is perfectly acceptable, otherwise, your edit summaries sound as if you're acting on my behalf or something, which you're not. In fact, I think some of your edits have been rather drastic. Please remember, I said that one notable fansite is acceptable. You're just deleting all the sites in articles that aren't official, including unofficial information or review sites that aren't fansites. Also, just because a site sells something doesn't mean it should be automatically taken off the list. It should only be taken off the list if the link goes directly to the online store.

Before you just jump and start deleting mass numbers of sites off of articles, you really need to take a look at the sites first. Several of the sites you've been deleting comply with policy and your edit summaries are twisting it to make it look like I told you to delete acceptable sites, which I never did. Please discontinue in this manner and claim your edits as your own. Thank you. --pIrish talk, contribs 15:50, 28 April 2007 (UTC)

On another note, The Morrow Project really doesn't need any fansite links at all. The official site for the product has a page dedicated to fansites they like with a direct link in their main menu bar. There's no reason to double-link here and there or link to a fansite they don't even think is noteworthy. --pIrish talk, contribs 22:06, 28 April 2007 (UTC)
