Welcome

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

Here are some other hints and tips:

  • I would recommend that you get a username. You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, requires no personal information, and there are many benefits of having a username. (If you edit without a username, your IP address is used to identify you instead.)
  • When using talk pages, please sign your name at the end of your messages by typing four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically produce your username (or IP address) and the date.

If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my Talk page, or type {{helpme}} on this talk page and a user will help you as soon as possible. I will answer your questions as far as I can. Again, welcome, and I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian. --Elonka 18:42, 24 April 2007 (UTC)

I told you you could bring back the issues you had with the article, just without personal attacks. Instead you responded with only personal attacks, instead of issues with the article content. I've blocked you for 24 hours to prevent further disruption. If you'd like to come back to the article talk page and refrain from personal attacks, your contributions are welcome after the block expires. I understand you are frustrated, but please do not take this out on others here. ··coelacan 07:37, 30 April 2007 (UTC)

Your statement that I brought back no issues with article content is a flat-out, bald-faced lie. Wikipedia is a joke, and you are a liar. Your "pillars" and "principles" mean absolutely nothing to you or anyone associated with you. I've asked that you completely delete my account and all of its associated content, but you don't even have the integrity to do that. You really need to put Wikipedia into China. You are absolutely made for each other!
Here, will the following do it? Fuck you and the horse you rode in on, you lying Nixonian twit. How's that? Now, can you delete the account and its content, dispshit? 71.231.140.80

[edit] Personal attacks

Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on contributors; personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks may lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. [1][2] --Elonka 20:53, 4 May 2007 (UTC)

Here's my answer to what you've done.

[edit] Civility

Pwok (talk · contribs), you are welcome to continue participating at the talkpage of the Matt Sanchez article, but please, you must remain civil. If you persist with incivility and personal attacks, it will probably just lead to another block. Please try to maintain a more professsional demeanor, thanks. --Elonka 19:57, 24 June 2007 (UTC)

In view of your inability to conform to Wikipedia's purported "neutrality" pillar, please recuse yourself as an editor of the Sanchez article. Thanks. 71.231.140.80 20:06, 24 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Enough

Pwok, I don't care whether you contribute under your account or this IP address but you will abide by our policies. Avoid incivility and personal attacks. Your conduct towards Elonka has been particularly shameful. Continued trolling from you as we have seen lately will result in you being blocked from editing Wikipedia for a period of time. I understand you have strong opinions on this subject but the overriding principle here is our policy on biographies of living people - negative material about living people must be sourced to the highest standard and not cause problems of undue weight or it must be removed. I invite you to contribute constructively to this encyclopedia or depart for good. WjBscribe 22:48, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
