[edit] Vandalism to Air charter and Air taxi

Stop adding your spam link to Wikipedia articles. It is a form of vandalism. If you are interested in actually contributing to Wikipedia, please visit Wikipedia:Introduction. Thank you. —Dbchip 18:18, 28 January 2006 (UTC)

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Dbchip 17:12, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

You remove the link to the online marketplace for air charter, neutral, all operators, brokers, buyers etc. operate there. Yet, you leave the air charter guide on there; an advertising based publication. Not only that; you note vandalism, it is NOT. (unsigned response by 71.224.61.7)
  • I've removed those too. Wikipedia is not a place for you to promote your business or commercial interests under the auspices that it's a resource. Dbchip 17:23, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

SO, THEN YOU NEED TO REMOVE ALL LINKS TO ANY COMMERCIAL ACTIVITY. WHO ARE YOU TO DETERMINE WHAT COMMERCIAL ACTIVITY SHOULD BE INCLUDED AND WHO SHOULD NOT BE. CLEARLY, YOU DO NOT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE AIR CHARTER BUSINESS, AS YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW THE BUSINESS IS DONE. THERE ARE OPERATORS, THERE ARE BROKERS, AND THERE ARE THE SYSTEMS THEY USE TO BUY AND SELL. DO YOU REMOVE THE NEW YORK STOCK EXCHANGE WHEN YOU SPEAK OF COMPANY STOCKS?

Dbchip, as noted above, constantly edits the air charter page; but does not know anything about the topic. He leaves certain commercial links in the copy, but removes others. From his edits, it is clear; that having some librarian try and provide real content in this topic area is useless. As an example, he includes VLJs in air charters growth category; THEY DO NOT EVEN EXIST YET! And then he goes on to have a secion of VLJ manufacturers; a. there have been plenty that were here earlier and failed, and several of these will fail as well. b. they are NOT MANUFACTURING ANYTHING YET c. He does NOT INCLUDE the private companies THAT ARE MANUFACTURING. d. who is to say that jet manufacturers, whose minority of product should be categorized as 135 should be in this article. What about fuel companies, what about caterers, WHAT ABOUT THE COMPANIES THAT DO THE BUSINESS ON A DAY TO DAY BASIS. e. in growth, he has removed twice, the Internet, which has DONE MORE than anything else to grow the industry. Please dbchip, edit something you know something about.

Hi there. If you have knowledge on this subject we would be happy to see you contribute and improve the encyclopedia. However, you're going to have to do it without plugging any particular business or commercial interest. If you continue to add external commercial links to these pages, we will continue reverting them. Please read Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not#Wikipedia is not a soapbox. —Cleared as filed. 17:13, 5 February 2006 (UTC)
