[edit] Your comment on my talk page
Dear 71.224.218.188:
Your right, I did make a mistake. My only excuse is that you made it easy to perceive your edit as vandalism. You didn't leave an edit summary, and you didn't identify yourself. Then I misread the edit differential. My bad. Sorry. I need to be more careful (and go to bed earlier!)
However, I thought that my comment to you was pretty gentle for this place. I sorted through several different replies before I found the comment that I sent you, because I wanted try to be especially polite.
By the way, please, in the future, sign you edits. You can do that by leaving 4 curly symbols (~~~~) at the end of your talk page edit. WVhybrid 23:51, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
- Thank you for your polite reply. I'd like to urge you to come on and get on board. Learning to use Wikipedia isn't very hard, and it can help make communications go much more smoothly. (I made my first edit just last May.) Also, you may want to open an account so that your IP is not visible. (From your IP it looks like you live near a Phildelphia suburb and get your internet access from your cable service provider.) Good luck, and keep spotting those grammatical errors! This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
