[edit] Biassed and unsourced contributions on military issues in Puerto Rico
I notice that your recent contribution to the Military history of Puerto Rico has already been reverted. I think that was maybe a bit too drastic, as there is probably some on topic content, but it is also clear that you are using the page for political campaigning, which is not an acceptable use of Wikipedia.
There are a couple of basic principles on Wikipedia: articles must be written from a neutral point of view and sources must be quoted for all facts (including the source of quoted opinions). QUoting of sources is a weak area on WIkipedia, but that is no excuse for not doing so. I get the impression that you also strayed from history into the present day.
I suspect that the person who reverted those edits has a pro-military bias, and I might have been prepared to unrevert the changes if they had been properly sourced, written from a neutral point of view and confined to the history.
I also note that you have written something in the Arecibo Observatory article, which, as well as violating the two key principles, is disproportionate to the rest of the article and talks about controversies with the project that have nothing to do with the Arecibo contribution. My feeling is that only one or two sentences can be justified, with a reference to an article on the project for the full details.
Finally, you are less likely to get reverted if you create an account. --09:18, 4 December 2005 (UTC)
