Hi. Currently, the English-language Wikipedia does not have a policy for usurping an existing account name without the consent from the account to be usurped. As a result, we normally don't rename inactive accounts in order to pass forward the name, even in cases where the account has never been used. What I could suggest you do is that you post a request in the appropriate section of Wikipedia:Changing username (there's one for usurping account names, which is never used) and, at the same time, start a thread in the talk page of that same project page, with a note about it's existence in the Bureaucrats' Noticeboard. If there are no objections to the request (which is unlikely, I must say), then we will be able to fulfill your request.
As an alternative, consider selecting a unique username from some kind of variation of "Gourry". If you can come up with one to your satisfaction, then you just need to create that account normally. Regards, Redux 22:14, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
