I think it's great that people at IBM are interested in wikipedia and want to meassure traffic increases from having links in articles, and I'd be curious to see those numbers myself. But, on the other hand, we are first and foremost here to write an encyclopedia, and bloating articles with extra links just to let you guys see who and how many clicks them, is not something I feel is the right thing for wikipedia to go into.
But since this is the first time I've come across a request of this kind from a company like yours, I will ask for other administrators oppinion on this on the Administrators' noticeboard. Shanes 19:42, 2 March 2006 (UTC)
