[edit] Welcome
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like it here and decide to stay. For general guidelines you may want to read:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- Help pages
- Tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Wikipedia Manual of Style
Here are some other hints and tips:
- Please consider getting a username. You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, requires no personal information, and there are many benefits of having a username. Without a username, your IP address is used to identify you.
- When making an edit to an article, briefly describe your changes in the edit summary box.
- When using talk pages, please sign your name at the end of your messages by typing four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically insert your username and date on the talk page.
- If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, visit the new contributors' help page, or type {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will help you as soon as possible.
Thanks again for contributing to Wikipedia. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian.
Please note: I removed the previous warning (Template:test2 for this edit) as it was unfair and shouldn't have been left (AGF). I left a comment on Mhking's talk page about this, to no response. —B33R Talk • Contribs 18:46, 25 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Date links
Please don't link to solitary year and month-year links unless the links are necessary to facilitate the readers' understanding of a topic. Only links that include the day of the month, e.g. December 2 or December 2, 2006, should be inserted. For more information, please see WP:DATE. Thanks. Extraordinary Machine 00:53, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
Your edits to Cher have been reverted for the same reason; please only link to complete dates per the Manual of Style. RadioKirk (u|t|c) 21:14, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
I reverted your edits to Sean Combs for the same reason. Again, please don't link dates for no reason; excessive links to irrelevant dates take away the focus on the important links. riana_dzasta 03:49, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
You appear to be ignoring these messages, so I'll put it another way: it took you about seven minutes to insert the month-year and solitary year links in the NBC article, and it took me about seven seconds to remove them. So, rather than continuing to insert date links in violation of the style guidelines (and being reverted for doing so), it would be a better use of your time to leave a message at Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style (dates and numbers) explaining why you believe year and month-year links should always be inserted. Thanks. Extraordinary Machine 14:49, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
All of your recent insertions of month-year and solitary year links have been undone. Look, it's great that you want to contribute to Wikipedia; what you mustn't do, though, is dismiss the style guidelines and what other users are telling you. Please stop ignoring these messages and start discussing this issue on the relevant talk page. Thank you. Extraordinary Machine 21:29, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
Undone again. I should warn you that repeatedly ignoring important messages from other editors, the guideline pages and/or previous consensus-establishing discussions is considered disruption. You will be blocked from editing for a period if you continue behaving like this. Please stop. Extraordinary Machine 18:50, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
And once again, at Pop-up Video. –Unint 03:11, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Blocked
I have temporarily blocked this IP address from editing because you are refusing to discuss your Manual of Style-violating edits on talk pages. You can edit this particular talk page to discuss your edits and/or the block, and it would be appreciated if you left a commitment that you will abide by the style guidelines and discuss issues with other editors when asked to do so. Thanks. Extraordinary Machine 19:27, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
You have been blocked again, this time for forty-eight hours, for persistently refusing to discuss your edits that violate the Manual of Style. Please start sticking to the guidelines and discussing this issue with other editors, or you will be blocked for a longer period and may become the subject of a request for comment. Thanks. Extraordinary Machine 21:23, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
Blocked, for the third time, for a week. Please stop this. Extraordinary Machine 16:45, 31 December 2006 (UTC)

This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
