[edit] Removed Boy Scout troop from Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex and HomeSchooling
Welcome to Wikipedia. I removed your recent changes to Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex and Homeschooling. Individual Boy Scout troops are usually not worth mentioning in large-city or regional Wikipedia articles unless there is something particularly notable about that troop or pack, such as a famous alumnus, or that troop or pack has more than a coincidental relationship with the subject of the article. It may be okay to mention that the Boy Scout troops exist in a city, but only as part of a larger list of youth activities. The article you edited was for an entire metropolitan area, and even that level of detail is too much. I look forward to your future contributions to Dallas/Fort Worth articles. Consider signing in and joining Wikipedia:WikiProject Dallas-Fort Worth. I left your posts in Flower Mound, Texas and Lewisville, Texas alone. I don't really like them there but you aren't the first Troop in one of those cities. The home-schooling article sounds like an article about home schooling not a resource for home-schoolers, so I removed it.
If you know any Boy Scouts who are looking for a project, I'm sure reading or editing Wikipedia can fulfill several Merit Badge requirements. LoneStarDavid 02:36, 26 May 2007 (UTC)
