[edit] Mark Bellinghaus
The Mark Bellinghaus article was speedy-deleted in January of this year, and promptly re-created. If you think (or anyone thinks) that it should be deleted now, go to Articles for Deletion. deletion review exists to consider errors, usually procedural errors, in the closing of deletion discussions, and in performing deletions. It normally only deals with fairly recent events, particularly when an article was not deleted, as the old decision may not be relevant to the current state of the article. So Articles for Deletion, often called simply "AfD", is the way to go here. DES (talk) 04:36, 30 June 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you for your long message about this articles. Please do not address me further on the subject, as I am not the person who will decide of this page is deleted. Indeed, no single person will decide.
- Most of the comments in your message seem to have to do with inaccuracies, or what you perceive to be inaccuracies, in the Mark Bellinghaus article. The proper place to address this is on Talk:Mark Bellinghaus, which is supposed to be devoted to improving the articles, which includes removing inaccurate statements. Or, if you have [[WP:RS|reliable sources] that you can cite, you can simply remove inaccurate statements, but please be sure to cite your sources, and to discuss the matter on the talk page.
- If you think that the article should be deleted completely, go to Articles for Deletion, and follow the directions there for nominating an article for deletion. Then others will see your reason, and comment on them, and discus the issues, and a decision will be made in accordance with the facts and Wikipedia policies. DES (talk) 00:10, 1 July 2007 (UTC)
- I am NOT happy to have you "continue to fine tooth comb his PAGES to give you a list of his profiles inaccuracies and exaggerations." I don't really want to hear anything more about him, and I don't currently plan to take any action on the subject. I have explained to you above, twice, what you need to do to either get corrections made to the article, or ask for it to be deleted. Sending me info about it won't do either -- it just wastes both of our time. if you want help in starting a discussion on the talk page, or in filing an AfD request, let me know, and I'll try to help you. I have no opinion myself about this article. I merely closed the Deletion Review discussion because DRV was the wrong place to raise this -- there was no deletion for Deletion Review to review. - I'm glad if I was able to be helpful to you, and i am not significantly irritated. I got what I thought were the following messages from you this one first and then this one second and then this one finally. I was a bit annoyed because it seemed that you had ignored my first message on the subject. I now see that you were simply a bit confused. I hope that you have come to a somewhat better understanding, and have been able to open a discussion of the deletion of the article if you so choose. You may fond some things easier if you opt to register an account and log in, but that is up to you, there is no requirement that you do so. I apologize for the tone of my previous msg.
