I was reading the preceeding question about the mites being "more" visable at night or "only" visable at night... The answer is MORE visible. This is true for many reasons. 1. The female mites burrow under the first layer of skin to lay eggs but they do usually come out at night to remate or feed. 2.They are visible in the day because it is rare for Male mites to "burrow" so they can be visible on your skin at any time. They look like tiny white dots... like dust on your skin.
