[edit] @Home Network
I understand if this is a work in progress, though I'd recommend reading WP:CORP to make sure that this company is notable. Also, please remember that information needs to be sourced by a reliable, external source. -- Steel 12:20, 3 July 2006 (UTC)
I understand, @Home Networks falls will withing those examples give. The company was responsable for the creation of cable modem technology used everyday by 11 million people world wide. It also drove the price of broadband cable to thesub $40 rage from what was then only offered as $120 a month. The advent of @Home had a direct inpact on ILAC industry and caused the fall of companies like CoVad, NorthWest Internet. In addition it directly competed head to head with AOL at a time when the company was one of the top in the world. It also is a part of the Excite post history as their former owners.
While 5 years after its fall the dust has settled there is a place in the history books for @Home.
as for sourcing I am pulling together close to 30 Wires, 8 Motley fools and 20 CNet articles on the subject.
