[edit] IP

Hi, got your note. Each time you edit without creating an account and logging in, the software automatically records your IP address and publishes it in the article's history, for all to see, permanently. To avoid this, you can either create an account and edit only when logged into it, or you could not edit at all. If you log in, the only way people could detect your IP address would be through checkuser, in very rare cases of suspected abuse. Read the text that shows up by the edit window when you go to edit a page for better understanding of this and your other concern. Peace, delldot talk 01:50, 2 December 2007 (UTC)

Could you please refrain from your written shouting? (You know, when you write in all caps like that.) May the Force be with you,--Padawan Animator 02:22, 2 December 2007 (UTC)

You have been blocked from editing Wikipedia for a period of 24 hours as a result of your disruptive edits. You are free to make constructive edits after the block has expired, but please note that vandalism (including page blanking or addition of random text), spam, deliberate misinformation, privacy violations, personal attacks; and repeated, blatant violations of our policies concerning neutral point of view and biographies of living persons will not be tolerated.--JForget 03:04, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
