Please revert your deletion in the Star TRek: Generations article. First of all, there is no copyright violation from Wikipedia articles, secondly, I was the original author of the article, which was LATER copied to Memory Alpha Pictureuploader 20:10, 10 September 2006 (UTC)

To User 71.138.87.61: I'm not too sure if you're trying to be disruptive in making a "WP:Point" regarding our earlier conversation about copyrights-- however if you are I advise you stop now. Wikipedia policy has been consistent and stable on copyright violation issues. You're not going to change any policy by going around attempting your own form of vigilantism. If you want to change policy, consider talking to the editors at the policy pages. Don't go around trying to demonstrate current policy does not work by intentionally trying to cause it to fail. If you simply don't understand some of the finer points of WP policy, talk to an admin, like Andrevan->talk. If you are really trying to actually disrupt Wikipedia, do know that it will eventually get you banned. I am going to WP:Assume good faith however since according to contribs you haven't really done anything egregiously wrong. I advise you to also WP:Assume good faith-- assume that other people on this site are trying to improve Wikipedia until proven otherwise. Accordingly, check with other people, preferably admins or the previous editors of a page, before deleting gigantic sections of a page as you just did. More importantly, be sure you really understand what Wikipedia considers copyright violation before reverting. If in doubt, ask an admin. Thanks. -- Solberg 08:56, 11 September 2006 (UTC)Solberg
