3RR on Bruce Lee

Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly, as you are doing to Bruce Lee. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia under the three-revert rule, which states that nobody may revert an article to a previous version more than three times in 24 hours. (Note: this also means editing the page to reinsert an old edit. If the effect of your actions is to revert back, it qualifies as a revert.) Thank you.

3RR Warning

You are in danger of violating the three-revert rule on Bruce Lee. Please cease further reverts or you may be blocked from further editing.

Please do not remove warnings from your talk page or replace them with offensive content. Removing warnings from your talk page will not remove them from the page history. If you continue to remove warnings from your talk page, you will lose your privilege of editing your talk page. Thanks. RevolverOcelotX

User:RevolverOcelotX is just trying to bully me around because he wants to put a copyrighted image on the Bruce Lee article. Stop reverting back to his edits.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.124.114.26) (talk • contribs)

You violated the 3 revert rule and attempted to remove warnings. 3RR ALWAYS applies. It is never acceptable to remove the warnings on your talk page. The best way to handle a dispute is to contact other users or an admin, not to break 3RR. Let me know if you have any further questions. --Alphachimp talk 00:30, 25 June 2006 (UTC)

Re:RevolverOcelotX

You're right about his behavior. He summarily reverts contributions based on whether he likes the editor and hands out vandalism and 3RR templates like there's no tomorrow, not only for every edit war he starts, but for every day that the edit war goes on. You're going about it the wrong way though. Personal attacks on other editors will just get you blocked. Just explain rationally what is going on without making insults. Also, don't revert more than three times a day no matter how justified you think you are. You could also ask the mods about assisting in dispute resolution process, such as filing a Wikipedia:Request for comment. Hope this helps. YINever 04:44, 25 June 2006 (UTC)

Do not post comments by other editors on my talk page

Regarding this edit, please do not post other user's (User:YINever) comments on my talk page. You posted this

"You're right about his behavior. He summarily reverts contributions based on whether he likes the editor and hands out vandalism and 3RR templates like there's no tomorrow, not only for every edit war he starts, but for every day that the edit war goes on..." YINever 04:44, 25 June 2006 (UTC)"

Do not post other user's comments on my talk page. You, User:71.124.114.26, DID NOT make that comment...posting it is extremely misleading. Hope this helps. RevolverOcelotX

User notice: temporary 3RR block

Regarding reversions[1] made on June 26, 2006 (UTC) to User talk:RevolverOcelotX

You have been temporarily blocked for violation of the three-revert rule. Please feel free to return after the block expires, but also please make an effort to discuss your changes further in the future.
The duration of the block is 12 hours.

On removing warnings: invalid warnings may be removed. As to what constitutes invalid, thats another matter. But even if a user is removing *valid* warnings you aren't allowed to break 3RR to re-insert them. In my view.

Also, please stick to WP:NPA.

Do not remove all the content off of pages

You have removed all the content off the Asian fetish page and replaced it with your own version without keeping a trace of the original[2]. This looks like vandalism, because you made no argument when you removed all the content on the page and added no reason to replace it with entirely new information.---Dark Tichondrias 03:47, 28 June 2006 (UTC)

About the guy's site you showed me

It seems that the guy likes attractive women in general, maybe even South Koreans in particular, but it does not prove he has an Asian fetish like you claimed when you titled the link "Asiaphile site". Of course, a person living in South Korea will only be pictured with South Korean women because South Korea is ethnically homogeneous. He might have even gone to South Korea because he usually prefers South Korean women, but this does not mean he prefers all Asians or that his preference is for all Koreans. He probably is not interested in unattractive South Korean women because no unattractive ones were pictured on the site. If someone is attracted to South Korean women in general, they might not find North Korean women attractive, because they are different ethnicities. Even with a general attraction to a certain ethnic group, this would not stop people from finding people not of this ethnic group attractive or cause a pathological obsesssion needed to justify the Asian fetish label.--Dark Tichondrias 19:28, 28 June 2006 (UTC)

... Except that on the site, he has naked and half-naked pictures of Chinese women, Japanese women, Filipino women, etc etc. Here's another one http://www.seelai.com. Hong Qi Gong 20:22, 28 June 2006 (UTC)

Coercion

The site owner has sadly been coerced by the continued attrition of many well-meaning Asian fetish advocates until he even believes he has an Asian fetish, but he is really an innocent victim without an Asian fetish. He probably has a preference for South Korean women like on his website. Asian fetish advocates have harrassed him to the point where he caved in. After all the angry Asian fetish advocate mobs telling him he has an Asian fetish, he has been coerced. Bad cops sometimes effect this type of change in a suspect after submitting them to grueling abuse and accusations. His cliché phrases such as "Oriental Dolls" were forcibly injected into him. He can only view his own actions within the framework of the Asian fetish which has him caged. He was and still is just a guy with a preference for South Korean women who was broken by Asian fetish advocates. I feel sorry for him.---Dark Tichondrias 21:09, 28 June 2006 (UTC)

Oh, did the site owner tell you this? And by the way, you could also use this nifty little rationale for just about anything. "If an Asian woman believes that Asian fetish is good, it is because she has been coerced by the continued attrition of many Asian fetishists. She probably thought Asian fetish was bad, but Asian fetishists have harassed her to the point where she gave in." Come on, now, give me a break. The fact is that he has naked and half naked pictures of Asian women across ethnicities, which basically contradicted your previous point about how he simply lives in South Korea and see a lot of South Korean women. Hong Qi Gong 21:14, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
Your analogy is disconnected from the present actions of the Asian fetish advocates. Asian fetish advocates never press Asian women to think that the Asian fetish is a good thing. On the other hand, the real-world mobs could easily have coerced him based on their convictions.
I don't see how the fact that he lives in South Korea contradicts with him being pictured with mostly South Korean women.--Dark Tichondrias 21:32, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
And you're basically going out of your way to deny the existence of Asian fetish. Once again. Naked pictures of Japanese women, Chinese women, Filipino women, etc etc. The Asian fetish on the site speaks for itself. I'm sure there are plenty of white men living in South Korea without having Asian fetish. But this guy is not one of them. Hong Qi Gong 21:36, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
He likes to have pictures with multiple women in a nation where mostly South Koreans live, but it cannot be ascertained that he has an Asian fetish. There are many possible reasons why he takes pictures with multiple women. This is at best speculative and I don't want to judge this poor individual after what he has been through. It was not his fault that well-meaning activists chose to target him for his preferences for South Korean women. --Dark Tichondrias 22:02, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
Having a sexual preference for South Korean women is enough to make him an asiaphile. Furthermore, he's got links to Asian porn sites on his blog. His "preference" is for Asian women in general. The fact that he has mostly South Korean women on his site comes from that he lives there. But in fact, on the web alone, there are plenty of pictures of women of other races that he can link to on his site. Yet he links overwhelmingly to pictures of Asian women. Hong Qi Gong 22:19, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
If "sexual preference for South Korean women is enough to make him an asiaphile" like User:HongQiGong states, we should rename the whole article to "sexual preference for Asian women", since the word fetish in this context is debatable.--Dark Tichondrias 02:40, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
