Welcome
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- Tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Manual of Style
You are welcome to continue editing articles without logging in, but you may wish to create an account. Doing so is free, requires no personal information, and provides several benefits. For one thing, if you edit without a username, your IP address is used to identify you instead.
In any case, I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your comments on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your IP address (or username if you're logged in) and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}}
before the question on your talk page. Again, welcome! Craigtalbert 13:24, 7 August 2007 (UTC)

Editor, sign your posts on talk pages with 4 tildas like so ~~~~. Also, please do not remove a signature that has been done for you. If you have concerns about showing your IP address, you are welcome to create a wikipedia account so that your IP address will not appear in your signature or edit history.--
[edit] Tokyo
Your recent additions look interesting, but as you don't specify sources for your assertions readers have no reason to believe them. Please add a footnote for each factual claim. -- Hoary 09:21, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Please cite your sources
Please follow WP:CITE and WP:V policies. Otherwise content you add may be removed. Please consider registering an account for additional editing tools.-- Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus | talk 00:19, 2 November 2007 (UTC)

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to User:Loodog. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. — Indon (reply) — 11:43, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
- If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make any unconstructive edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant warnings.
While your additions to Wikipedia are appreciated, please avoid making excessive successive minor revisions to a page, as you did to Sexually transmitted disease. Instead, check your edits in as a single revision (or a few revisions at most) and use the edit summary. Thanks. Newtman 06:44, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
Hello. Please don't forget to provide an edit summary, which wasn't included with your recent edit to Boeing 777. Thank you. MBK004 12:59, 11 November 2007 (UTC)

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Mycobacterium. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Despite your defense, the language of your edit, especially in the context of the article, seems to be clear cut case of vandalism. This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
