Welcome

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

Here are some other hints and tips:

  • I would recommend that you get a username. You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, requires no personal information, and there are many benefits of having a username. (If you edit without a username, your IP address is used to identify you instead.)
  • When using talk pages, please sign your name at the end of your messages by typing four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically produce your username (or IP address) and the date.

If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my Talk page, or type {{helpme}} on this talk page and a user will help you as soon as possible. I will answer your questions as far as I can. Again, welcome!

Thank you again for contributing to Wikipedia. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian. Yuser31415 (Editor review two!) 23:19, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism and immediately reverted. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. Thank you. OhNoitsJamie Talk 17:59, 7 February 2007 (UTC)

You have been temporarily blocked from editing Wikipedia as a result of your disruptive edits. You are free to make constructive edits after the block has expired, but please note that vandalism (including page blanking or addition of random text), spam, deliberate misinformation, privacy violations, personal attacks; and repeated, blatant violations of our neutral point of view policy will not be tolerated. This blocked user (block log | autoblocks | rangeblocks | unblock | contribs | deleted contribs) has asked to be unblocked, but an administrator has reviewed and declined this request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock request while you are blocked.

Request reason: "If you're going to block me, then you should also block User: Netscott, and he is the one who began to revert my good edits. In this way, he is the blatant vandal. I only reverted his edits because he was trying to vandalize mine. If you only block me and not Netscott, then this is absurd. Please be fair and balanced. And please don't just accept his word at face value because he is a chronic liar and exaggerator, who will say anything to get others banned and his point of view to win, as he even tried to speedily delete Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Michael Richards Laugh Factory incident request for deletion against an article he made by simplying accusing the creator of the request for deletion a sockpuppet. Fortunately, the debate for deletion was continued, but you can see how Netscott tries to abuse loopholes to prove a point and win arguments. He also exaggerates, claiming that my edits are vandalizing and abusive, when in fact I was only trying to improve a couple articles, which he then reverted, for no reason other than to prove a point (disrupting wikipedia to prove a point isn't allowed on wikipedia), even if it meant WORSENING the state of an article and re-implementing broken links, bad disambiguations, and incomplete information. Netscott has done more harm to wikipedia than good, and thus for this reason, if you block me and not him, then you must either block both of us or block none of us."

Decline reason: "Your edits to William Holden, at least, were clear vandalism. Additionally, the claim is that you are the same person as Mactabbed. As such, you are not welcome here. -- Yamla 18:29, 7 February 2007 (UTC)"

Please make any further unblock requests by using the {{unblock}} template. However, abuse of the template may result in your talk page being protected.
