      I believe I have a reliable way to contact people by their computers free of charge.

and files may be exchanged also. it is however necessary to have an ID so that you can be recognized.
and this company has for one of your e-mail addresses so that you can recover your password if necessary.
I use either net with high speed DSL and I can say that to me it sounds just like a telephone.
       this company allows conferences for free, even video conferences I believe up to 9 people 
 at one time with the quality of a telephone in real time. this company does charge for telephone 
 calls from your computer to someone's home but not from computer to computer and I believe their prices 
 to use the phone system are very low for international calls. 
       because advertising is not allowed I will not say the name of this corporation.
 but surely this must have been investigated already and decided not to be used because this system 
 like all can not used correctly for example if someone posts your telephone number inside 
   their uploaded information for their ID anyone can read what they say about this number 
 and call you at your telephone number and leave no caller ID at all. 
      to solve this problem I have never given out my telephone number to anyone online.
