Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Jodie Foster. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Hello, 71.111.148.121, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that recently there have been potentially unwanted edits made using this IP or account. Therefore, for the time being, your edits will be monitored closely to make sure that they are in accord with our policies and guidelines, and reverted if necessary. I just thought I should let you know. -- Omicronpersei8 (talk) 23:09, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
- I'm glad you believe I have been making WP:NPOV edits, though I suspect you were trying to accuse me of making WP:POV edits. However, I will stick to my assessment that it was you who have been trying to insert your personal bias into the Jodie Foster article. You are free to disagree with me about this, but I am fairly certain that my long experience with helping maintain a neutral point of view across a wide range of articles on Wikipedia puts me into a good position to judge that your edits are, in fact, the problematic ones. You are welcome to take this matter to dispute resolution if you truly believe my reversion of your edits was incorrect, as I am completely confident that I will be found to have acted appropriately and in the best interests of the encyclopedia. Good luck, Gwernol 23:14, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
You have been blocked for 24 hours for violations of WP:BLP and for posting rubbish on various users' talk pages. -- Steel 23:16, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Resolution of RfAr
Now that your spurious Request for Arbitration has been removed as trolling, please note that if you continue to make personal attacks against editors or push your biased personal opinions on the Jodie Foster article from this IP or any other you will be blocked from editing. If you seriously believe that these edits should be added to the article, gain consensus on the article's talk page first. Any attempt to reintroduce these changes without consensus will result in an immediate block. Thanks, Gwernol 23:40, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
