How come the "new messages" sign doesn't appear for IP addresses anymore?

Please do not add unhelpful and unconstructive content to Wikipedia, as you did to University of California, Irvine. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Eric Bronder 23:06, 11 May 2007 (UTC)

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make any unconstructive edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant warnings.
I just tell the fucking truth, damnit.

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to University of California, Irvine, you will be blocked from editing. † Ðysepsion † Speak your mind 01:00, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

Oh, so the truth is vandalism, is it? You want me to add lies to articles then? Okay, this encyclopedia is a little backwords, but I'll try.
Calm down please. You can add that if its referenced but please try to do it without using profanity or swearing. Also the "You have new messages" notice is broken right now. See [1] -- Hdt83 Chat 01:36, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
I am calm, I usually always swear. It's just natural for me.

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to University of California, Irvine, you will be blocked from editing. BeckyAnne 02:25, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

You have been temporarily blocked from editing Wikipedia as a result of your disruptive edits. You are free to make constructive edits after the block has expired, but please note that vandalism (including page blanking or addition of random text), spam, deliberate misinformation, privacy violations, personal attacks; and repeated, blatant violations of our neutral point of view policy will not be tolerated. [edit] What vandalism?

This blocked user (block log | autoblocks | rangeblocks | unblock | contribs | deleted contribs) has asked to be unblocked, but an administrator has reviewed and declined this request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock request while you are blocked.

Request reason: "Oh, I get it: truth = vandalism. Gotcha. I see, so Wikipedia is not an encyclopedia after all."

Decline reason: "WP:NPOV, WP:NOT, WP:V, WP:VANDAL, and WP:5P. You may want to read those. Trying (failingly) to include an external link to a virus [2] isn't all that nice either. -- Consumed Crustacean (talk) 02:45, 12 May 2007 (UTC)"

Please make any further unblock requests by using the {{unblock}} template. However, abuse of the template may result in your talk page being protected.
